You will be pleased to hear that The Point hostel in Cusco is only two blocks from the debauchery of the main square - so it’s not uphill, altitude sufferers! Opened since 2006, we have all the facilities a traveller may need - from washing your smelly socks to abusing your liver. When you’re not making the most of the party capital of Peru or exploring the heart of the Inca Empire, chill out with fellow backpackers in our large garden.
Our fully
renovated 430-year-old mansion, just off the beautiful main plaza,
has almost 100 big comfy beds in both dormitories and
private rooms, creating an atmosphere in which it's easy
to meet other guests.
By the way, the first professor in the region used to live in the building and we sometimes wonder if he would like what we did to his house.

The Horny Llama Bar
The Horny Llama Bar is one of the most happening backpackers' bars in Cusco, Peru's party capital.
During the day, order a meal or a snack from our restaurant, sit back and enjoy live sports on our big-screen LCD TVs.
Then at night, it's the perfect place to enjoy a few cheap drinks, meet new friends, dance and kick-off the party.
Our bartenders - backpackers too! - will take you out afterwards to show you the best clubs in Cusco and get you home safely.
We have an event planned for you every night in The Horny Llama Bar, whether its killer pool, texas hold 'em, beer pong, theme parties or DJs.
We also have one of the biggest beer funnels in the world - a must try if you are around Friday nights.

• The City
Built at the cite of the capital of the former Inca Empire, Cusco is Peru´s most culturally rich as well as most heavily visited city. Nestled in the southern Andes Cusco has cooler temperatures then most of the country and may offer a welcome reprieve for heat stressed travellers. The city sports stunningly well preserved colonial era architecture as well as breathtaking mountain views.
The Point Cusco is mere minutes away from the city´s famed Plaza de Armas in which you will find major historical sites and a variety of bars, clubs and resturaunts. Treks and tours of the world famous Inca city of Machu Pichu can be arranged at the Point´s TRAVEL CENTRE along with a variety of other popular adventures.
