The Point Hostels Peru - Concept

Over years of backpacking around the globe, we visited quite a few hostels. The idea of having one of our own grew and grew. Eventually, in Lima, the capital of Peru, opportunity and will finally collided and we set up The Point Lima!

We wanted to take the best of every hostel we’d been to: one that’s cozy, comfortable and most importantly, FUN! A place with services of the highest level, but that does not overcharge. Basically, just capture that special atmosphere everybody looks for in a hostel. After more than 5 years in operation, thousands reminiscing backpackers are a living testimony that somehow the plan worked.

Mid 2005 we established The Point Arequipa: a hostel overlooked by the impressive, snowcapped Andean mountains and volcanoes in the famously beautiful city of Arequipa. A perfect place to get exited before your next Peruvian adventure or to chill out after just your latest one…

In 2006 The Point Cusco opened its doors: a gorgeous colonial house turned into the backpackers’ embassy of Peru’s Party Capital! Just two blocks from the main square on a quiet street it is surrounded by all the day and night action of Cusco…
